At Duke’s, we believe that positive interactions, meaningful relationships, and quality service drive the betterment of the world.
Positive Interactions: High stakes or low, lengthy or short, we believe that every interaction is significant and worthy of our best efforts to make it one that makes your day better.
Meaningful Relationships: We believe that relationships should add to one’s quality of life, not take away from it. We believe these types of relationships are built upon kindness, trust, respect, and taking an interest in the interests of others, and we seek to demonstrate this to everyone we serve through our work.
Quality Service: We believe that work is an act of service and that work, particularly service-based work, should provide the customer with a sense of satisfaction, contentment, and even relief, depending on the urgency of the job.

John Hart Geary
FOUNDER, OWNER
Back in Jackson, MS, after a five-year stint in Nashville, TN, John Hart noticed an opportunity to breathe new life into the service-based industry in Mississippi. He first realized the value of this work while side-hustling with home builders in Nashville when he wasn’t on the road playing music. He started Duke’s out of a passion for combining integrity and creativity and is excited to serve the Jackson metro area.

Duke
NAMESAKE, MASCOT
After Duke was rescued during a drug bust in the summer of 2023 and taken in as a foster, John Hart (newly settled in Mississippi at the time) quickly decided that Duke and he would both be here to stay.
Kind, playful, curious, and appreciative of his new life, Duke serves as a daily reminder that stepping in to meet a need and improved quality of life go hand-in-hand.
